Common questions and answers

  • This is largely dependent on your timeline and the type of project, but here are some ballpark estimates. For a 2,000+ word writing project that requires hours of in-depth research, customer interviews, writing, and revisions with you, I’d estimate that taking about five weeks from first conversation to final delivery. Now if you’re looking for someone to edit 25 social posts for you, we can turn that work around in 5-10 business days.

  • Step by step, here’s what you can expect:

    1. You fill out the contact form on this website.

    2. We follow up in 1-3 business days. If it sounds like we’re a good fit, we’ll reach out to set up an intro call. (If not, we’ll let you know and recommend another path forward.)

    3. We connect for 20-30 minutes on a call. You share more details about your work; we share more about how we can help.

    4. From here, we send you our master service agreement (MSA) with a custom scope of work (SOW).

    5. You sign it.

    6. We smile, and then sign it.

    7. We schedule a formal kickoff call with all relevant parties, and go from there!

  • This won’t come as a surprise, but we prefer to work on a retainer model because we can better plan out our support for your brand and content. That said, we absolutely work with brands on an ad hoc basis — we just have to slot your work around existing projects and time commitments, so turnaround times are a bit longer.

  • Yes! Most of our current retainer clients actually started out by doing a trial project with us. It’s a great way to feel out if we’re a good fit for you and vice versa.
